Tech researcher Steve Moser uncovered the mention within a headphone-related UI framework, sparking speculation that the new earbuds could launch before the end of 2025.
The code includes identifiers for previous models, including AirPods Pro (1st and 2nd generation), alongside a new entry believed to be the AirPods Pro 3. While Apple has not officially confirmed the product, this finding adds weight to earlier leaks and rumors about the upcoming premium earbuds.
According to industry analysts, the AirPods Pro 3 are expected to feature a range of upgrades, including Apple’s next-generation H3 chip, which could bring faster processing, improved battery life, and more efficient real-time audio handling. Enhanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is also anticipated, powered by the chip’s advanced capabilities.
